SET SHARE PATH

When you click on the SET SHARE PATH button, you can view shared folders on the

network. If you wish to change one of these folders, click into the field and enter a new

filepath, then click SET.

Hint

‘TERRADATAxx’ s a naming convention used by the Base Transceiver

in identifying different shared folders on a computer or network. These

names are given out in sequential order. In order to identify the correct

shared folder, you should have a good idea of which files it contains, and the

name of the computer it is on.

For example, in the IMAGE ASSOCIATION FILE listing above, the file

path is listed as:

\\WSB129\TERRADATA00\TerraPlayerIAF.data’

Here, ‘ WSB129’ is the name of the computer, so you know you are looking

at a shared folder on that machine.

Another helpful hint here—you don’t really need to bother with this.

The SET SHARE parameters include:

Parameter Definition

IMAGE ASSOCIATION

FILE

This is the data file where the album cover icons used in the

TerraTouch OS are stored.

IMAGE BIN FILE This is the data file where the album cover art is stored.

WRITABLE SHARE This is a write-access shared folder where the Base Transceiver stores

some required information.
