CHOICE OF THE IRON TEMPERATURE
Rotate the iron temperature control knob (14) so that the proper
temperature corresponds to the indicator (15) according to the type of
cloth to be ironed (figure 1).L
FOR STEAM IRONING
HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WITH WATER
• Always unplug the iron from the outlet when filling the boiler with
water.
• Unscrew the cap (5) counterclockwise and slowly pour the water
through the boiler opening using the provided funnel (10) to avoid
any leakage. Screw up the cap again clockwise.
• Only use running water to fill the boiler without exceeding its
maximum capacity: never add detergents, perfumed substances,
chemical additives or water softeners.
STARTING UP
• Place the appliance on a firm flat surface.
• Place the iron on the boiler support base (6).
• Fill up the boiler as described in the previous paragraph.
• Completely unwind the power cord (9) and plug into outlet.
• Turn the selector (2) to the iron+boiler position to turn on the
appliance.
• Turn the iron temperature control knob (14) to “steam ironing”.
• The pilot light (17) on the iron will go on immediately and will go out
a few minutes after reaching the required temperature.
• When the light (4) goes on, it is possible to use the jet of steam. The
pilot light will be on until the appliance is turned off.
• During operation, the iron light (17) and the “steam ironing” light (4)
go on and then automatically go out indicating that the iron tempe-
