PILOT LIGHT AND ON PUSH BUTTON
After fitting the nozzle and filling the tank with water, plug the appliance
into the power socket making sure the mains voltage corresponds to
the one shown in the data plate of the
appliance.
Press the on push button (7): pilot light (8)
turns on, indicating that the appliance is
working.
When the appliance reaches its working
temperature (after about 30 seconds), it
delivers steam.
Now the appliance can be used on the surface to be cleaned. Press
push button (7) at the end of use or in order to stop the steam delivery.
Pilot light (8) will turn off indicating that the appliance is off and the
steam jet will stop coming out from nozzle (11).
NOTE: When the appliance is running, the internal pump makes noise.
This is normal.
WARNING!
• After use and during the tank filling operation, switch off the appliance
and unplug it from the power socket.
• Pay attention not to enter in contact with steam and with the
hot surfaces of the appliance since they could cause burns.
• Do not use the appliance to clean waxed floors, leather
surfaces, synthetic materials, velvet or other material sensitive to
steam.
LACK OF WATER DURING OPERATION
If water in the tank runs out during use, the appliance becomes more
noisy and steam is not delivered. Should this occurr, turn the appliance
off by pressing push button (7): pilot light (8) turns off. Unplug the
appliance from the power socket and fill the tank following the instructions
shown in paragraph “TANK FILLING”.
