DESCRIPTION
Numbers in parentheses refer to Fig. 1.
Mounted off the transmission power takeoff (PTO), the
hydraulic pump supplies oil to the body control valve to
operate the body hoist system. The hydraulic pump is
a rotary gear pump mounted to the transmission
housing and driven by the transmission gear train.
The major pump components are; body (1), front cover
(2), mounting flange (3), driveshaft and gear (11),
driven gear (12), wear plates (13 & 14), wear plate
seals (8) and bearings (7).
There are two ports on the hydraulic pump:
Port 'A' - Suction side from hydraulic oil tank
Port 'B' - Pressure supply to body control valve
