STEP 5
When placing line support posts, make sure
they are every 15 to 20 feet. Start by driving
the ground sleeves (that come with the heavy
duty posts) into the ground using a drive cap
(as shown in Figure 3). This makes sure the
sleeves are not damages during the driving
process. Drive caps will need to be replaced
overtime as they will begin to mushroom.
STEP 6
Begin to unroll the polypropylene Deer Fence
along the support posts to gauge exactly how
many feet are needed.
STEP 7
Secure the fencing to the posts using self-
locking fence ties (as shown in Figure 4). It is
important to only hand tighten at rst in case
a mistake is made. Use 6 self-locking fence
ties per post to secure the fencing. If you are
installing more than one roll of fence, then
overlap rolls and secure them together using
hog rings.
STEP 8
Fasten the fencing to the top and bottom
monolament wire. This is done using a
hog ringer and 2500 pack of hog rings (as
shown in Figure 5). Make sure to connect the
monolament with the fence about every 3
feet with a hog ring.
