iii. At the prompt, enter the new PIN code again, and select OK.
III. Change PIN2
The PIN2 code is required for features such as fi xed dialing. If you enter
an incorrect PIN2 code three times in succession, the PIN2 code is
blocked and you will have to enter the PUK2 code.
The original PIN2 code must be obtained from your network operators.
Use this procedure to change your PIN2 code:
From Menu, select Phone Settings > Security > Change PIN2
• At the prompt, enter the original PIN2 code, and select OK.
• At the prompt, enter the new PIN2 code, and select OK.
• At the prompt, enter the new PIN2 code again, and select OK.
IV. FWP Lock
From Menu, select Phone Settings > Security > FWP Lock
Locking the phone can restrict access to the Phone menu options.
When the phone is locked, a PIN is required to make any calls or access
any menu items. Incoming calls can still recived.
You can Activate/Deactivate and change the PIN password via menu
options.
V. Auto PIN Entry
From Menu, select Phone Settings > Security > Auto PIN Entry
If the Auto SIM PIN Entry feature is activated, the fi rst time a SIM Card
with a PIN is inserted in the FWP, the user is prompted to enter the PIN.
