The shortcut to Messages is the Left arrow key and the Message Button

in idle mode.

(1). Read (read a message)

When a message is received, New Messages will be displayed on the

screen, and your phone will sound the selected SMS ring tone.

I. To view the message immediately, select Read

II. To view a saved message, From Menu, select Messages > Read >

Inbox ,Outbox, or Draft. Unread messages are indicated with .

III. While viewing the message, select Options and one of the following:

• Reply — While viewing a message, select Options > Reply. Compose

your reply and send the message as described in “Write and send a mes-

sage” to one reciepient or to groups by selecting send group option.

• Edit — Edit the message.

• Forward — Forward the message to another recipient.

i. While viewing a message, select Options > Forward

ii. Edit the message, and select Send or send to groups

iii. Enter the recipient’s phone number or retrieve it from contacts, and

select Send.

• Delete — Delete the message you are viewing.

• Extr. Number — Automatically captures the numbers within the mes-

sage. You can press Next to cycle through them and press Options to
