Making a call
Key in the telephone number, preceded by the area code, and press , .
Information on the call status will be displayed and on completion the duration and cost
will be displayed.
NOTE: The cost shown is transmitted by the network or is calculated by the telephone on
the basis of data entered ( '    ).
International calls
Hold the  key down until the ® sign is displayed.
Enter the country code, area code, and telephone number and press , .
Example: to call the Rome number 06123456, enter + 39 06123456; to call the Paris number
123456 enter + 33 1 123456.
Automatic redialling
When a called number is found to be engaged, the telephone can be set to redial the
number 10 times automatically, by pressing ,  after the message requesting you
to do so is displayed.
NOTE: To refuse the automatic redialling feature immediately (or later while the attempts
are being made) press ,  .
Correcting entering errors
To delete the last character displayed, press + .
To cancel the display altogether hold down  .
Recalling a number in the phone book
For information relating to storing names and numbers see the “Using the phone book”
Chapter.
Rapid dialling
Enter the position number against which the telephone number was stored in the phone
book and press , .
