4. Main Features
Switching on

Hold the & key down to switch the telephone on.
If the telephone displays the message PIN X key in the code (provided with the SIM card)
and press the ,  RU  key.
NOTE: The telephone can make and receive calls only when it is switched on, a valid
SIM card has been inserted, and if the user is in an area covered by the GSM land-based
network or Globalstar satellite network.

If necessary change the language on the display by pressing '   .
Switching off
Hold the & key down for at least 2 seconds.
Access codes
The telephone and SIM card use various access codes to prevent unauthorised use.
When the message requesting these (PIN, PUK, Code) is displayed, key in the code
(displayed as a series of asterisks) and press ,  .
If an error is made in keying the digits, these can be cancelled by pressing + as many
times as required.
Security Codes (6 digits)
The security code programmed by the manufacturer is 000000 and this controls access
to the Telephone Security ( '   ) sub-menu.
