<socket type>,<remote port>, <remote address>.

<socket type> - socket protocol type
0 - TCP
1 - UDP
<remote port> - remote host port to be opened
0…65535 - port number
<remote address> - address of the remote host
this parameter can be either:
- any valid IP address in the format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
- any host name to be solved with a DNS query in the format: <host name>
Test command
AT#SKTSET=?
Returns the allowed values for the parameters.
Example AT#SKTSET = 0,1024,"123.124.020.007"
OK
Or
AT#SKTSET=0,1024,"www.telit.net"
OK
NOTE The resolution of the host name is done when opening the socket, therefore if an
invalid host name is given to the #SKTSET command, then no error message will be
issued to the #SKTSET command.
The DNS Query to be successful requests that:
- the GPRS context 1 is correctly set with AT+CGDCONT
- the authentication parameters are set (#USERID, #PASSW)
- the GPRS coverage is enough to permit a connection
