KEYPAD
Key Function:
Soft Keys: press this key to confirm a selection, an entry, a request
from the phone.
press it to exit the current menu level and go back to the upper level,
to delete a character in the text editor; press and hold it to go back to
stand-by.
Places a call, once you have dialed the number; quick access to
calls log
Press the joystick in stand-by mode to access the main menu;
move it to the left or right to return to the previous menu level, or to
go to the next one; move it up and down to browse through and
highlight the items on the current menu level.
In stand-by, moving it in the four directions, you can access the most
frequently used features (see see page 6).
turns the phone ON and OFF; hangs up or rejects a call, rejects a
selection, exits the current menu without saving any change.
- Use the number keys to enter phone numbers, or to enter the
characters corresponding to each individual key.
press to enter the » character; use this key to insert pauses (P) in
DTMF tone sequences, or after entering at least 1 number in the
stand-by mode.
In addition to its use as the # character, press this key after entering
a digit to pull up the contact in the phone book corresponding to that
digit; press and hold in stand-by to lock or unlock the keypad.
During WAP Internet sessions and while using T9, a number of keys will have
distinct features.
