not required to enter a code. To request code verification, select Lock
(menu 5-4-2-2).
Autolock keyboard: when you enable this feature, the keypad locks
automatically after 30 seconds without use. The keypad lock mode works
in the same way as manual lock ( see “Locking and Unlocking the Keypad”
on page 11)
Networks (menu 5-5)
This menu manages the phone's GSM network connection.
Using Search Network, the phone searches for available networks and
lists them. Access the network you want with . The ones with a
crossed-out phone receiver near them are not accessible.
Home net displays the name of your SIM card operator.
Network list lets you create a list of GSM networks the phone will try to
connect to when it does not succeed in accessing the default SIM card
network
Selection gives you the option of Automatic or Manual GSM network
selection.
Select Band: to use this unit in EU Countries, choose 900-1800. In
Countries using GSM DCS 1900 MHz (i.e. Canada and the United States),
choose 900-1900.
Network led allows you to choose whether a LED on the phone has to
blink or not to signal the network connection.
Audio profiles
There are 6 preset audio profiles, along with one user-defined, Custom profile.
For each one, you can change the ringer, vibro-call, and audio signal settings.
After defining the settings, all you need to do is use the most appropriate profile
for your present situation. In a single touch, you can change a full group of
settings all-at-once.
To activate a different audio profile, access the profile list from the shortcuts
see “Shortcuts” on page 13, or from the main menu 5-6, select the profile you
want to enable and confirm with .
To edit an audio profile’s settings, select it and press the joystick.
