Call Waiting (menu 4-4): is a feature provided by your network operator. This
service lets you know you have an incoming call while you are on the phone.
You have three options: Activate, Deactivate the service, or query the network
to Check the current status.
Barring (menu 4-5) lets you create a filter for incoming and outgoing calls, so
you can block undesired ones. You can block: all Incoming calls, Incoming
Abroad calls, Originated calls; all outgoing International calls, or all Outgoing
International calls except for calls to home Country. Clear All eliminates all the
filters, so you can receive and make any type of call. Change Code gives you
the option of changing the security code needed to block calls.
Divert (menu 4-6) gives you the option of forwarding an incoming call to
another number. You can forward unanswered calls (No reply option), calls you
receive while the phone is out of signal range (No reachable) , or when your
phone is busy. You can also divert all the calls that don’t below to any of the
last three categories (All unconditionally).
Send Number (menu 4-7) lets you decide whether or not to allow your number
to be displayed on the phone you are calling - select Preset to use the the
default network setting, Send always to send your number whenever you call,
or Hide number to hide your number.
Calls Control (menu 4-8) lets you enable an audio signal that will beep after
every 60 seconds of conversation, so you can control the length of calls.
SMS messages ALWAYS contain the sender's number, irrespective of the
above settings.
