Settings is the function that allows you to manage the parameters of the
connection for MMS mailing; in particular:
Preferred connection: to choose the connection profile to be used to send the
MMS messages, or modify its parameters. Some of the profiles may have been
previously set, to match those of the network operators.
Type of reception: two sub-menus are available: Settings allows you to
decide whether an incoming message must be downloaded automatically as
soon as the WAP browser receives the notice, rather than manually or in
roaming mode; the latter means that if you are connected to your network
operator, the message will be downloaded automatically; if you are connected
with roaming service, you’ll have to start the download manually. Mode manage
the limits of connection for the download, fixing the number limit of Attempts
or the Time of the download.
Receive adverts: MMS standard provides that advertising messages carries a
flag that allows the unit to recognize them, so that the user can decide whether
he wants to receive them or not.
Receive reports: to activate/deactivate the reception of the receive reports.
Validity: the Service Centre tries to deliver the message to the addressee, for
a cartain period of time. If the maximum time you decided elapses without
results, the message is deleted.
