Reading an EMS message
To read an EMS message, use the same procedure as for SMS messages
(“Reading the messages in your inbox” on page 26).
Pictures and animations will appear alongside the text exactly as the sender
intended. A musical note on a staff appears in the text to signal sounds and
melodies.
While displaying a message, you can select the items in it by using the joystick.
A broken line surrounds the selected item.
When you select a sound or melody, the phone plays the audio.
Saving an EMS item
You can save user-defined items (see “There are two kinds of EMS items....” on
page 25) to the phone's memory for reuse in future messages.
To save an item
• select it as described earlier, then press to access the option menu
• select and confirm the option “Save ....[item type]”
