BASIC FUNCTIONS
Placing a call
In stand-by, dial the phone number you wish to call, including the area
code, and then press .
Press to clear the last digit entered.
To dial an international number, hold down and enter the + sign, then
insert the area code number.
If the number you are trying to call is busy, you have the option of automatically
redialing the same number at intervals. These intervals become longer and
longer as the number of retries increases.
To quit the redialing mode at anytime, press
Answering a call
When somebody calls:
the phone plays the selected ringtone (see “Audio profiles” on page 45); the
screen and keypad light up; the word "Incoming", and the caller's number
appear on the display (when available); If the number is already in your
phonebook, the corresponding caller's name will be displayed.
If the Vibro-call feature is active, the unit vibrates to alert you of an incoming call
(page 45).
Press:
to answer the incoming call
to reject the incoming call (the caller will hear a dial tone when your
phone initially rings, and a busy signal when you reject the call).
With this key you can also transfer the incoming call to your voice mail.
To hang up, press .
