Paper
Open the paper tray cover (12).
Pull up the paper supporting bracket.
Put the paper (up to 30 pages) between the paper
guides (13).
Adjust the left paper guide (13) to the paper width.
Push the slider (14) forward to feed the paper
into the paper tray.
Pull up the document supporting bracket (15)
to ease the collection of printed pages.
Fax
Sending a fax
Insert the document into the document feeder, printed-side down.
Dial the number.
Press the START/KOPIE key. The machine
scans and stores the document, then sends it.
Receiving a fax
If a fax is stored in the memory, this is shown
in the LCD: e.g. 1 FAX and the LED next to
the warning panel will flash.
If there is paper in the tray, incoming faxes will be printed
automatically.
Fax answering machine
For printing faxes stored in the memory (confidential faxes, no paper in the tray, etc.)
LED next to the STOP key is flashing and the LCD shows how many faxes are
stored in the memory.
Insert paper into the paper tray.
Press the START/KOPIE key.
If a fax contains more than one page, you can decide while the first page is being printed
whether the remaining pages should be printed or not. If you wish to delete the
remaining pages from the memory, press STOP and confirm the command with START/
KOPIE.
Telephone answering machine
Recording your message
Press the MENU key, then the ANSAGE key.
Lift the handset and record your message.
Listening to messages
The LED next to play key is flashing and the LDC shows how many new
messages have been stored.
Press the play key ; the messages are played back to you.
Press the forward key to listen to the next message.
Press the return key to listen to the previous message.
Deleting messages
Press the delete key DEL, messages are deleted.
