WaveSource Automatic Waveform Generator
The WaveSource Automatic Waveform Generator allows you to output custom sine, square, triangle,
pulse, DC, noise, and arbitrary waveforms from the WaveSurfer 3000.
Connect a BNC cable from the WaveSource output on the back of the oscilloscope to the external device.
Output is continuous once WaveSource is enabled.

Import and Output Arbitrary Waveform
The Arbitrary waveform feature enables you to import waveforms via file, then output this waveform from
the function generator.
Waveform files must be saved in .csv format (using Excel®, WaveStation™, etc.) to be imported into
WaveSource. Use the Save Waveform file fuction to save waveforms from the oscilloscope for output via
WaveSource.
To import an external file, first save it to a USB drive or transfer it directly to the WaveSurfer storge card if
your oscilloscope is networked.
