5.9 Using Sequences
5.9.1 Using a Single-State Sequence
Asdescribedpreviously,asequencecanbesingle‐stateormulti‐state.Asingle‐state
sequenceisasimplecombinationofeventsandactions.Youcannotcreateloopingor
branchingconditionswiththistypeofsequence.
Amulti‐statesequenceallowsyoutobranchsuccessivelyto(advanceto)lowerstatesin
thesequenceortolooptothefrontofthesequence(restartthesequence).
5.9.2 Using a Multi-State Sequence
Multi‐statesequencesallowyoutocreateconditionsthatbranchdowntosuccessive
statesorloopbacktothebeginningofthesequence.Theyaremorecomplexthansingle‐
statesequencesbutverypowerful.
5.9.3 Using Independent Sequences (USB 2.0 only)
Youcanuseuptoeightindependentsequences.Bydefault,theyarelabeledSequence0
throughSequence7.
Thesequencesoperateinparallelandhavenoeffectoneachotherwiththefollowing
exception:
AnyofthesequencescancontaintheactionRestartAll.Thisactionrestartsall
sequencesintheMainDisplayarea.
