ThissectionexplainsthefeaturesofMarkers.Amarkerisanentitythatflagsa
physicalorlogicalitemofinterestwithinatracefile.Amarkercontainsoneor
moreattachments.Youcanaddamarkertoatracefileorunmarkatracefileby
removingthemarker.
Markersarerepresentedgraphicallyinadifferentwayintheapplication.Youcan
notonlyaddmarkerstothepack etsbutitisgranularenablingyoutoalsoadd
markerstoindividualcells.
Markers Overview
Thisfunctionalityprovidestheuseraneasywaytonavigatethrough
attachmentswhichisadiscretepieceofinformationordataaddedtoamarker,
forexample,atextdescriptionorfile,anattachmentofatracefilebya
predefinedorder,videooraudiofiles,URLlinksoranyotherfiles.
Functionality of Markers
Themarkersfunctionalityallowsyoutoaddmarkersto:
• Whole packets or frames
• Specific Cells
• Specific values within a cell: Bytes, words, etc.
