Set User Identity Permissions
If you want to create password-based security for individual users, perform
the following steps on the host computer:
Step 1 From the
FwAnalyzer
Properties
dialog box, select
the Identity tab.
Step 2 Click the This
User option.
Step 3 In the User box,
type the name of
the user account
that will be using
the application.
Step 4 In the Password
box, enter the
password for the
user account that
will be using the
application.
Step 5 Re-enter the password in the Confirm Password box.
Step 6 Click OK.
The FwAnalyzer Properties dialog box closes.
Step 7 Click OK.
The Distributed COM Configuration Properties utility closes. The
FireInspector host computer is now configured as a DCOM server
and is ready to accept automation commands from a DCOM client
device.
