2. Check the p ower.
If the adapter is receiving power, the power
indicator will be lighted. If it is not, try gently
pushing in the power cable on either the
power connector or the USB Device port,
whichever one you are using.
3. Check the GPIB sett ings.
The G PIB address of the adapter must
match the address selected for it on the
controller. You can chan ge the GPIB
address of the adapter through the
instrument menu system on Tektronix
USBTMC-USB488 compliant instruments.
For all other instruments, the default
address of the adapter is 1.
If the address setting is correct, disconnect
the instrument from the Host port on the
adapter. Wait for one second, and then
reconnect the instrument to the Host port.
