Command Descriptions
CURSor:FUNCt
ion
Selects and displays the oscilloscope cursor type. Cursors are attached to the
waveform selected by CURSor:SELect:SOUrce. This command is equivalent to
setting the T
ype option in the Cursor menu. Setting the function to anything other
than OFF causes the Cursor menu to be displayed.
NOTE. Setting the display format t o XY removes the cursors. Sending the
CURSor:FUNCtion command when the d isplay format is XY causes the
oscilloscope to generate event 221 (Settings conict) and leaves the display in
XY format.

CURSor:FUNCtion?
Arguments
HBArs species horizontal bar cursors that m easure the vertical units in volts,
amps, divisions, or decibels.
OFF removes cursors from the display.
VBArs species vertical bar cursors that measure time or frequency.
Examples
CURSOR:FUNCTION VBARS selects vertical bar type cursors.
CURSor:HBArs? (Query Only)
Returns the settings for the oscilloscope horizontal bar cursors.
