Command Descriptions

WFMPre:XUNit

For all model and ﬁrmware combinations except the TDS200 Series with a

TDS2CMA communications module, the set form of this command speciﬁes the

horizontal units ("s" for seconds and "Hz" for Hertz) for the reference waveform

speciﬁed by the DATa:DESTination command. Setting a reference waveform to

Hz causes th

e oscilloscope to display the waveform as an FFT waveform.

NOTE. For TDS200 oscilloscopes used with a TDS2CMA communications

module, the set form is ignored. Waveform commands:WFMPRE:XUNIT

The query form returns the horizontal units for the waveform speciﬁed by

DATa:SOU

Rce. If the waveform speciﬁed by DATa:SOURce is not displayed, the

query generates event message 2244.

WFMPre:XUNit <Qstring>

WFMPre:XUNit?

Arguments

<Qstring> is "s" or "Hz"

WFMPre:<wfm>:XUNit

Same as WFMPre:XUNit, except that <wfm> speciﬁes the source/destination

waveform instead of DATa:SOUrce and DATa:DESTINATION.

WFMPre:XZEro

The set form of this command speciﬁes the position, in XUNits, of the ﬁrst

sample of the reference waveform spe ciﬁed by the DATa:DESTination command,

relative to the trigger.

The query form returns the position of the ﬁrst sample of the waveform speciﬁed

by the DATa:SOUrce command, if that w aveform is active or displayed.

If that waveform is not active o r d isplayed, the query fails and the oscilloscope

generates an execution error with event code 2244 (waveform requested is not

active).
