Arguments
EVEN sets even p
arity.
ODD sets odd p arity.
NONe sets no parity (no nint
h bit transmitted).
Examples
RS232:PARITY EVEN sets even parity.
RS232:SOFTFlagging
Sets or queries the input and output soft agging over the RS-232C port. After
receiving an XOFF (DC3), the oscilloscope sends two or less characters. The
oscilloscope begins transmitting data again when it receives an XON (DC1)
character.
The oscilloscope sends an XOFF character when its input buffer is running out of
space. After sending an XOFF character it can receive at least 20 more bytes. It
sends XON when its input buffer has an acceptable number of free bytes.
When soft agging is enabled and binary data is transferred, data transmission
will lock up if the data c ontains X OFF or XON characters.
Hard agging and soft agging cannot be active at the same time. H ow ever, hard
and soft agging can both be inactive at the same time. Activating soft agging
deactivates hard agging. Activating hard agging deactivates s oft agging.
Conditions
This command applies to the TDS200, TDS1000, TDS2000, and TPS2000 Series
only.

RS232:TRANsmit:TERMinator
Sets or queries the end-of-line (EOL) terminator. When transmitting, the
