Solder-Down Adapter
Use the Solder-Do wn ada pter to pro be
common test points in your circuit. The
adapter is available in two length s: 1 inch and
3 inches. One of each length is provided with
the probe.
The adapters include integral resistors for best
signal fidelity. The 1 inch adapter can span
up to 1 .5 inches betwee n test points, and the
3 inch adapter can span up to 5 .5 inches.
NOTE. The 3 inch adapter performance is
best below 500 MHz.
1. Solder the leads to the t wo test points.
2. Connect the adapter to the probe.
