Performance Verification
Making the DC Current Loop
Construct the loop using #18 coate d wire and a cylindrical form ap proximately 3 inches in diameter:
1. Wind exactly 5 t urns of #18 coate d wire
around the form.
2. Scrape about a half-inch of coa ting off of
the ends of the wire.
NOTE. Ensure that the current loop has
exactly 5 turns. A significant error will result for
each turn variance from 5 turns.
