2. In the SQL Server Configuration Manager, click SQL Server Network Configuration >>
Protocols for MSSQLSERVER, and then right-click TCP/IP in the right panel as
shown in the following figure.
Depending on the operating system, the SQL Server Network Configuration link might be
(32 bit) or (64 bit).

3. Select Enable in the pop-up menu.
The following figure is displayed after you enable TCP/IP.
