Using the Window
Function to See Waveform
Details
You can use the w
indow (zoom) function to examine a specific portion of a
waveform without changing the main display.
Ifyouwanttov
iew the color burst in the previous waveform in more detail
without changing the main display, follow these steps:
1. Push the Hor
iz button to see the Horizontal Menu and select the Main option.
2. Push the Window Zone option button.
3. Tu rn the horizontal Scale (seconds/division) knob and select 500 ns. This will
be the seconds/division setting of the expanded view.
4. Tu rn the horizontal Position knob to position the window around the portion
of the waveform that you want to expand.
1. Push the Window option button to see the expanded portion of the waveform.
2. Turn the horizontal Scale (seconds/division) knob to optimize viewing the
expanded waveform.
To switch between the Main and Window views, push the Main or Window
option button in the Horizontal Menu.
