Diagnostic Test Print
■ Found in the Help Pages menu; five separate pages help you diagnose print quality problems
(for example, if a user-replaceable component needs to be replaced).
In the printer’s front
panel press Help, scroll to Print Quality. Press Menu, scroll to Display Help Pages,
press Menu again and scroll to Diagnotic Test Page and press Print.
Color Density Samples and Color Reference Page
■ Color Density Samples
Included in the User Guide. Provides samples of standard color density, used to
compare to the printer’s current settings that appear on the Color Reference Page.
■ Color Reference Page
Found in the front panel’s Calibrate Colors menu. Shows the printer’s current density
settings and the ranges for adjustment. Refer to Adjusting Color Density on page 38 for
details.
■ Calibrate for Paper
Refer to Calibrate for Paper on page 40 for details.
