Analyzer Config
uration
The Analyzer C
onfiguration menu has the same function as the
(SETUP)
key. Selecting this menu displays the complete instrument setup. Use the up and
down soft keys to scroll through the configuration.
Pressing the right arrow key changes the configurationscreentodisplay
information on the physical unit. This includes the serial number of the unit, the
firmware version, and information on the main card and analog cards, including
calibration date.

The User Configuration m enu provides the means for loading changing the
current confi guration.
Load Defa
ult Configuration
Choosing this option by pressing sets every menu option of the PA 3000 to
its factory default. The d efaults are listed in previous sections of this chapter.
Load from USB
Load a c
onfiguration from a file on an attached USB flash drive.
Save to USB
Save the current configurationtoafile on an attached USB flash drive in the
\PA3000 folder.
The file name is of the format CONFIGXY.CFG, where XY is the first available
number in the sequence of 01 to 99. For example, if a file named CON FIG01.CFG
alre
adyexistsontheflash drive, then the new configuration will be named
CONFIG02.CFG.
Configuration
Save or load preset user configurations using one of eight selectable internal
sto
rage locations.
For e ach user configuration you can do the following:
Apply the saved configuration.
Rename the configuration. A name can have up to 16 characters.
Save a con fi guration. This is the complete setting of the instrument at the
time you choose this option.
NOTE. Loading a configuration that has never been saved results in an error
message. The current configuration of the unit will not be changed.
