Navigating the menu system
The menu system provides complete access to all settings of the PA3000. To
access the menu system, press the
(MENUS key).
To return to t
he measurement display at any time, simply press
again or
press
(RESULT key).
With the men
u system active, the five soft keys to the right of the display can be
used to navigate and select options. A list of the menu keys can be found in the
soft key section of the manual. (See page 23, Soft keys.)
If the m enu you are in displays a group or channel name, this means that the
setting is only for the displayed group or channel. To move to another group or
channel, use the left and right arrow hard keys.
Example: Choosing
measurements to display
One of the first t asks to carry out is to change the list of displayed measurements.
To choo
se the measurements on the display:
1. Press
(to show the menu).
2. Press
to see the list of Measurements. Measurements with a check mark
will b
e displayed in the order shown.
3. Use the
and keys to select a measurement to display and press
to enable it to be displayed.
4. To change the order in which a measurement is displayed, first select t he
measurement you want to move and then press
.
The selection bar will turn red.

and to move the measurement and then press to accept
the new position.
To remove a selec ted m easurement, select it and press
.

Configuration.)
NOTE. Depending on the mode selected, some measurements will not be
selectable. (See page 42, Modes.) More details on selecting measurements are
available. (See page 36, Measurements.)
