Remote Operation
The 25-pin rear-panel REMOTE connector is a subminiature
D-type connector. It accepts the input for RGB/YRGB stair-
case, external horizontal, remote sync external blanking, time
code, and Left and Right audio. TT L signa l or ground clo-
sure to designated pins will enable Staircase, External Hori-
zontal, or Re mote Sync displays.
When Remote Sync is enabled, the on-screen
TIME/DIV. read-

UNCAL” is displayed in
place of a quantitative readout.
The
REMOTE connector is confi gured for Staircase (RGB or
YRGB) or External Horiz ontal input through the
CONFIGURE

The user can store and rec all up to eight front-panel setups
through the re mote. Remote connector pi n assignments and
an operational de scription begin on page B-1.
Using Presets through the Remote
The 1760--Series has 10 presets capable of storing front-panel
setups. Presets one through eight are accessible through the
rear-panel
REMOTE connector. A TTL low or ground closure
on one of t he
PRESET pins selects the front-panel setup stored
at that preset location.
When
STORE (pin 25) i s grounded along with one of the pre-
set pins, the current front-panel setup is stored at the selected
preset location.
