18. Using the screw and washer removed in step
4, connect the yellow/green ground wire from
the unit to the hole on the right side of the
compressor fence (see image).
19. Install new cover onto compressor fence
using the clamp (see image).
20. Connect the suction and discharge lines to
the new compressor, and follow the
Whirlpool Technical Manual W10393765 to
properly complete the sealed system repair.
21. Replace the wiring diagram & schematic on
the unit with a new wiring diagram &
schematic from the kit that matches
the model number of the unit.
