Selecting the weight of the bread
Thebread weightisset bydefaultat 1000
g. This weight is shown for informational
purposes. Seethe recipesformore details.
Programmes3,9,11,12,13,14,15donothave
weightsettings.
For programmes1 and 2, youcanselect two
weightoptions:
- 400gforonebatch(4baguettes),thelight
indicatoragainstthe500gsettingcomeson;
- 800gfortwobatches(8baguettes),thelight
indicatoragainstthe1,000gsettingcomeson.
Pressthe
buttontosetthechosenproduct
-500g,750gor1000g.Theindicatorlight
againsttheselectedsettingcomeson.
Selecting the crust colour
Bydefault,thecolourofthecrustissetat
MEDIUM.Programmes12,14,15donothave
acoloursetting.Threechoicesarepossible:
Light/Medium/Dark.
Ifyouwant tochange thedefault setting,
pressthe
buttonuntiltheindicatorlight
facingthedesiredsettingcomeson.
Start / Stop
Pressthe buttontoswitchtheappliance
on.Thecountdownbegins.Tostopthepro-
grammeor tocancel delayedprogramming,
holddownonthe
buttonfor3seconds.
CYCLES
A table (pages 382-386) indicates the
breakdown of the various cycles for the pro-
gramme chosen.
Kneading
For forming the dough’s structure so that it
can rise better.
Duringthiscycle,andforprogrammes1,2,
4,5,6,7,8,10,12,13,youcanaddingre-
dients:driedfruitornuts,olives,etc.Abeep
indicates whenyou can intervene. Seethe
summarytableforpreparationtimes(pages
382-386)andthe“extra”column.Thiscolumn
indicatesthetimethatwillbedisplayedon
yourappliance’sscreenwhenthebeepsounds.
Formorepreciseinformationonhowlongbefore
thebeepsounds,subtractthe“extra”column
timefromthetotalbakingtime.
Forexample:“extra”=2:51and“totaltime”=
3:13,theingredientscanbeaddedafter22min.
Rest
Allows the dough to rest to improve knea-
ding quality.
Rising
Time during which the yeast works to let the
bread rise and to develop its aroma.
Warming
Transforms the dough into bread and gives
it a golden, crusty crust.
