FieldPilot® PREPARATION 1. Before beginning the installation, thoroughly clean the vehicle to remove dirt and contaminants that might get into the hydraulic circuit. 2. Park the vehicle on a clean, level floor with adequate clearance to work around. 3. Do not attempt to loosen any hydraulic fittings while the engine is running. 4. Allow the motor and the hydraulics to cool until it is no more than warm to the touch before proceeding. 5.

FieldPilot® Installation If there are questions concerning the installation of the FieldPilot system on this vehicle, or due to the changes in component specifications the parts supplied in the kit are not exactly as presented in this document, please contact your dealer or TeeJet Customer service representative for clarification before installation. TeeJet Technologies is not responsible for misuse or incorrect installation of the system.

FieldPilot® 2. Install the Mounting Bracket Locate the two holes on the existing bracket. There will be nuts welded to the existing bracket. Use parts (C & H) to mount the valve bracket (K). Figure 1-3: Install the Mounting Bracket Bracket K C&H 10 www.teejet.

FieldPilot® 3. Install the FieldPilot Valve (YOU MAY WISH TO PERFORM THIS STEP AFTER THE HOSES ARE CONNECTED TO THE FIELDPILOT VALVE). Use parts (B, I, & J) to mount the FieldPilot Valve (E) to the bracket (K). Figure 1-4: Install the FieldPilot Valve B, I, & J 4. Prepare and Install the Check Valve Install adapter (R) in the exit port of the check valve (D) as shown. Install adapter (V) in the inlet port of the check valve.

FieldPilot® 5. Install the Steering Hoses and Adapters Locate the steering orbital L and R ports. Disconnect the hoses from those ports (mark them for reinstallation later). Remove the fittings from the orbital. Install the o-ring (EE) onto adapter (X). Install adapters (X) in the L and R ports. Install run tees (P) to adapters (X). Install adapters (W) to the run of the tees (P). Reconnect original steering hoses to adapters (W). Route hoses (M) from the orbital back to the FieldPilot Valve.

FieldPilot® M M EE X Original Steer Hoses M X W P 6. Install The Tank, Pressure, and Load SEnse Adapters Locate the Tank, Pressure, and Load Sense ports on the back of the machine. Remove the nut and plug from each port. Parts (Y, Z & AA) will be used to convert the 26mm Tank and Pressure Ports to JIC fittings. Slide part (Z) and then (AA) onto part (Y) as shown. Then slide part (Y) as far into the P and T ports as possible. Hold part (Y) with your hand as you tighten part (Z) onto the port.

Use adapter (DD) on the run of the tee to install existing Power Beyond Function. Adapter (DD) converts the #6MJIC to 3/8” NPT threads. FieldPilot® 10. Install the valve control cable Route the valve control cable from the FieldPilot valve under the cab. There is an entrance into the cab under the floor mat on the right hand side. Install Steering Disengage Switch (Kit 91-07011) The steering disengage kit (EE) is used to automatically disengage FieldPilot when the steering wheel is turned. Bend the bracket as shown and glue the bracket to the plastic housing.

FieldPilot® 12. Installation of Engage/Disengage Switch Connect item (A) to the connector on the SCM harness labeled Remote Engage/Disengage. Install the push button in a location that is easily accessible during operation of the machine. This switch (A) is not required if the optional foot switch 32-04020 is used. FieldPilot® 14. VERIFY OPERATION OF HYDRAULICS AND SET THE STEERING CONTROL RATE Clean and pick up the area around the vehicle and make certain that it is safe to operate. Start the engine and check hydraulic connections for leaks. Rotate the steering wheel from one extreme to the other and back to center, check for leaks. While steering through the extremes of movement, check the cables and hoses for wear points and strain, adjust as necessary.
