STEP 1 1 Turn off and unplug the chiller. 2 Remove screws from housing. Slide housing about 8" (20cm) back. 3 Unplug green ground wire from housing. Slide the housing off. Keep the plastic washers that come with the housing screws, these prevent chipping of the housing powder coat. 4 Slide Housing completely off. Do not operate the chiller until housing is replaced.
STEP 2 1 Unscrew and remove ring nut over Heater port. Use cloth to cover the plastic ring nut to prevent damage from pliers. 2 Remove plug and o-ring from ring nut. 3 Place o-ring over the top of the Heater and push down approximately 3/4 inch to 1 inch onto the Heater. 4 Insert Heater into heat exchanger until o-ring seats into outlet lip. If you encounter resistance while inserting the Heater, gently turn the Heater and apply very slight force. 5 Put ring nut over quartz sleeve and o-ring.
STEP 3 1 Pull the heater plug through the hole in the frame. 2 Connect two pin adapter on wiring harness to one of the available two pin connectors mounted on top of support strut.
STEP 4 1 Plug in and turn on the chiller 2 Find the circuit board on the top of the electronic housing. Remove the plastic “jumper” from prongs 4 and 5 (See Diagram Below). 3 Place jumper on pins 7&8, this will reset your chiller. 4 Remove jumper from pins 7&8. 5 Now turn off your chiller. 6 CAUTION: Leaving chiller on with no water flowing will cause the unit to overheat. 7 Place Jumper over pins 5&6 8 Note: Resting your chiller will change your set temperature to the default of 77.
