The Manual Bypass enables the user to isolate the electronic circuitry of the UPS from the mains and the load
without interrupting the load operation by connecting the loads directly to the mains.
This feature is useful while performing maintenance or service on the UPS.

The steps for a correct switching into Manual Bypass during operation are explained below.
) Remove the Manual Bypass switch cover. The UPS switches automatically in Bypass mode.
) Bring the Manual Bypass switch from “UPS” to “BYPASS” position.
) Turn “OFF” the Input circuit breaker and turn “OFF” the Battery Box circuit breaker (only if there is an
external Battery Box).
0) Turn the UPS OFF by pressing 44 button.
The steps for a correct returning from Manual Bypass to UPS are explained below.
) Turn “ON” the Input circuit breaker and turn “ON” the Battery Box circuit breaker (only if there is an
external Battery Box).
) Turn the UPS ON by pressing ; button.
) Bring the Manual Bypass switch from “BYPASS” to “UPS” position.

If you need to check the Battery Status when the UPS is running in Normal mode/Converter Frequency mode/ECO
mode, you could press the button to let the UPS do the Battery Test.
The Battery Test starts immediately and it finishes after some seconds. If the batteries pass the test, no alarm will
be shown.
During the Battery Test, the graphic LCD and buzzer indication will be the same as at Battery mode except that
the 7! led is flashing.
To keep the system reliable, the UPS will perform the Battery Test automatically once per week.
User also can set Battery Test through monitoring software.
