Snagit Hotkeys
Hotkeys provide keyboard shortcuts for common tasks. As long asSnagit is running in the system tray, cap-
tures can be initiated using the global capture hotkey.
To customize the hotkeys, select Snagit > Tools > Program Preferences > Hotkeys or right-click on a pro-
file and select Set Hotkey.

Global capture
Initiate a capture with the currently selected pro-
file.
PRINTSCREEN
Hide/Show Snagit CTRL+SHIFT+X
Repeat last capture CTRL+SHIFT+R
Image Capture
During Image Capture Hotkey
Move crosshairs 1 pixel Arrow keys
Capture 1:1 aspect ratio (square) Hold SHIFT
Take a capture ENTER
Start a region selection SHIFT+ENTER
Show/Hide magnifier M
Show Capture Help F1
Video Capture
During Video Recording Hotkey
Start, pause, resume recording SHIFT+F9
Stop recording SHIFT+F10
