Capture Modes and Capture Types

This topic describes Image, Text, and Video capture modes. For more information on Printer

Capture, see Snagit Printer Capture.

Snagit offers three main capture modes:Image, Text and Video. Within each capture mode, there are several

capture types. The default is the flexible All-in-One capture type.

Use capture modes and capture types together to create the desired capture settings. For example, if you

wanted an image to always be the same size, you can capture an image (mode)using the fixed region input

(type).

Snagit does not support text capture on some operating systems and web browsers. See Text
