Camtasia Studio Output
Camtasia Studio is TechSmith's screen recording and video editing software. To open an image or video cap-
ture in Camtasia Studio, use the Camtasia Studio Output accessory.
Camtasia Studio is a video editor that can help you take your screen recordings and videos to the next level.
When you send your Snagit content to Camtasia Studio, you gain the ability to edit and enhance your videos
with transitions, callouts, and more. Your polished, professional-looking video can be produced and shared in
a variety of formats.

The only option available for the Camtasia Studio output accessory is whether or not you are prompted for a
file name or if the output accessory automatically names and saves the file to a default location before open-
ing it in Camtasia Studio.
Images
When using the Camtasia Studio output accessory to send an image to Camtasia Studio from Snagit, the
image is added to the Image section of the Clip Bin. This image is always in the PNGfile format.
Videos
When using the Camtasia Studio output accessory to send a video to Camtasia Studio from Snagit, the video
is added to the Video section of the Clip Bin. This video is always in the MPEG-4 video file format.
