Change the color scheme to change the color of both Snagit and Snagit Editor to black, blue, or
silver.
Advanced Settings Tab
Snagit Editor > File > Editor Options > Advanced
Set the default preferences for the number of items that show in the Recent File list, make changes to the way
the Open Captures Tray stores captures, whether new captures are automatically saved, and initiate the
Backup/Restore process.
By default, Automatically save new image and text captures in the Library and Automatically save
new video captures in the Library are enabled. If you disable these options,any unsaved captures will not
be stored in the Library and will be deleted when Snagit Editor closes.
Click the Backup/Restore Automatically Stored Files button to begin the Backup and Restore process.

Customize
Snagit Editor > File > Editor Options > Customize
Customize the Quick Access Toolbar, assign the Keyboard Shortcuts, and set File Associations (the types of
file formats that Snagit Editor opens by default).
