menu. Select Share and press ENTER. You will be directed to a list of apps and services you can share
your file(s) with. Select the app you wish to use and press ENTER. Your file(s) will be shared with your
selected application.
13 Using the calculator: KeyCalc
To launch KeyCalc, from the main menu, Press C repeatedly or Navigate to Calculator: KeyCalc, then
press ENTER or one of the cursor routing buttons.
13.1 Inputting calculations
Using the calculator is as simple as writing the operation on your touch keyboard then pressing enter to
get the result. For example, if you wish to know the product of 9 times 9, you simply write 9 times 9
followed by enter. The calculator requires you to input your calculations in computer Braille to ensure all
symbols can be written.
Your Touch will display and read the result of your operation. This number can now be used for another
operation as it is already written in the calculation text field.
The following math symbols and operations are supported by KeyCalc:
Plus, minus, multiply, divided, (, ), decimal point, percent, square root, factorial, power, pi, logarithm,
sine, cosine, tangent, natural logarithm base, factorial.
13.2 General US Braille commands
The following commands are available in the KeyCalc context menu for reference.
Plus: DOTS 3 4 6
Minus: DOTS 3 6
Multiplication: DOTS 1 6
Divided by: DOTS 3 4
Equals: ENTER
Clear: SPACE with DOTS 3 5 6
Decimal point: DOTS 4 6
Percent: DOTS 1 4 6
Square root: SPACE with DOTS 3 4 5
Factorial: SPACE with DOTS 2 3 4 6
Power: SPACE with DOTS 4 5
