Note regarding Route configuration: You can directly access Route Settings. To do so, press the
Go To button, select the desired route, then, press 3. The following options are made available:
- Rename Route
- Delete Route
9.15.3.1 Renaming Route:
Upon selecting this option, a beep will prompt you to dictate the new name for the route in
question. After 4 seconds, recording ends with a beep and message. The system exits
configuration mode and announces the current state.
9.15.3.2 Deleting Route:
Upon selecting this option, the system prompts you to delete the selected route. Press Confirm
to Delete. Upon doing so, the system exits configuration mode and announces the current state.
9.15.4 Import and export
Upon selecting this option, the system will ask you to select either a Landmark or Route.
9.15.4.1 Landmarks
Export landmarks to SD card
Selecting this item will export all your saved landmarks to the $TREKLandmarks folder of your SD
card.
Import landmarks
Selecting this item will import all landmarks found in both the root and the $TREKLandmarks
folder of your SD card.
Delete all landmarks
Selecting this item will delete all landmarks saved on your device. If you are sure you wish to
delete all landmarks, confirm by pressing the Confirm key.
9.15.4.2 Route
Export routes to SD card
Selecting this item will export all your saved routes to the $TREKRoutes folder of your SD card.
Import routes
Selecting this item will import all routes found in both the root and the $TREKRoutes folder of
your SD card.
Delete all routes
Selecting this item will delete all routes saved on your device. If you are sure you wish to delete
all routes, confirm by pressing the # key.
9.15.5 Configuring Verbosity
Use the arrows to select which verbosity option you wish to modify. There are five verbosity
options: Point of interest verbosity, Route information Verbosity, Where am I verbosity,
Intersection verbosity, and Reset verbosity defaults. Press Confirm to select the verbosity option
of your choice.
