7.3. DISASSEMBLING THE BACKUP BATTERY

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the mains
lead from the wall outlet.
2. Back off the 4 screws a using a small Philips
screwdriver.
3. Remove guard plate b.

4. Disconnect connector c.
5. Remove the BACKUP BATTERY d.
The BACKUP BATTERY is correctly
charged if the voltage measured at the
terminals of its connector is 3.6 Vdc, and
in any case greater than 2.5 Vdc.
