Cleaning the brewer (inside).
The brewer needs to be cleaned regularly.
If used daily it needs to be cleaned every two weeks.
We recommend Cleancaf® by Urnex®.
Follow the instructions on the Cleancaf® bag / box.
Descaling Your Brewer
Your coffee brewer must be descaled regularly to maintain optimal
performance.
When mineral deposits build up in the heating element of your Tech-
nivorm Moccamaster, it can clog the water flow and affect the brew
temperature and saturation time. If not descaled regularly, the brewer
can stop working.
Technivorm Moccamaster recommends descaling your brewer every
80 cycles (easily remembered after every box of 80 count filters) or a
minimum of every 3 months.
We recommend the use of Dezcal™ by Urnex®, follow the instructions
on the Dezcal™ package.
Anti-Frost Protection and Extended Storage Guidelines.

Remove outlet-arm, pull it carefully out of the silicon gasket.
Empty any remaining water within brewer by holding it upside down
over the sink.
Replace the outlet-arm before using the brewer again,
insert smoothly in the silicon gasket at top of the cold water reservoir.
