DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Brew-basket
The brew-basket is specially designed for making one 10 oz. cup
of coffee with a contact time according to SCAA, SCAE & ECBC
standard.
Attention: Make sure the brew-basket is clean and the tiny hole
at the bottom of the brew-basket is not blocked, to prevent the
brew-basket from overflowing.
Note: Use the provided small brush to
clean the tiny hole in the bottom of the brew-basket.
Use only No.1 filter paper in the brew-basket.
Removable cup-holder
Place the cup-holder over the black caps on the base, directly
under the brew-basket.
Make sure the cup-holder lays horizontal and stable on the base
and is placed over the caps.
Cup-holder is optional, larger based cups may be used without
cup-holder
Rotatable Outlet-arm
Rotate the outlet-arm for easy access the brew-basket.
CAUTION: The outlet pipe will be hot directly after brewing.
Auto-shut-off system
The coffee brewer is switched off automatically after the water is
transferred to the brew-basket.
Note: Please allow time for the coffee to flow from the brew-bas-
ket into the cup before removal

1. Power switch should be in the off position.
2. Position outlet-arm as shown in the image.
· Attach securely to the silicon gasket at top of the cold water
reservoir.
· Remove outlet-arm only for cleaning purposes.
· Push the outlet-arm sideways for easy access to the brew-basket.
3. Fill cold water reservoir to the marked level (10oz),
with fresh cold water.
4. Check the tiny hole in the brew-basket for any obstructions, as this
will result in overflowing of the brew-basket.
· Place a standard Nº 1 paper filter into the brew-basket.
5. Add the appropriate amount of coffee.
· The approved standard for a 10 oz. cup (water up to the level indicat-
ed on the water reservoir) is 2 level scoops (4 Tbsp.) of filter ground
coffee.
6. Place the brew-basket on the bracket, position outlet-arm in the
center of the brew-basket.
· CAUTION: Scalding may occur if any of these parts are removed dur-
ing brew cycle.
7. Cup-holder placement:
· Place the cup-holder over the caps on the base, directly under brew-
basket as shown in the image (page 5).
· Place a cup (with a capacity of at least 10 oz.) on the cup holder.
· NOTE: if a larger based cup is desired, cup-holder may be removed.
· We recommend rinsing the cup with hot water to prevent loss of
temperature.
8. Switch the power switch to the “on” position; light will illuminate.
9. The brew process will begin quickly; water will boil, rising through
the brewer across the outlet-arm and into the brew-basket. Brew
process is complete in about 4 minutes.
10. We recommend disposing of coffee grounds once brew cycle is
complete and rinsing the brew-basket to prevent clogging.
· Note: Use the provided small brush to clean the tiny hole in the bot-
tom of the brew-basket.
11. The brewer switches off automatically after transferring the water
from the water reservoir to the brew-basket.
· Note: Please allow some time for the coffee to flow from the brew-
basket into the cup before removal.
