6.2 DAB radio reception
> To switch on DAB mode, press the MODE (2) buon on the device as oen as required until DAB Radio
is shown in the display, or use the TUNER/DAB (30) buon on the remote control.
If the device is being started for the first time, a complete scan is performed and a station list added. In
order to perform a complete scan, open the menu by holding down the Info/Menu button and use the
Tune +/ - and Enter buttons to select the menu item [Complete Scan].
6.3 Performing the automatic scan
The automatic scan (Full Scan) scans all DAB Band III stations and thereby finds all stations being
broadcast within the reception range.
In order to perform a complete scan, open the menu by holding down the Info/Menu button and use
the Tune +/ - and Enter buttons to select the menu item [Complete Scan].
> In order to perform a full scan, use the MENU (34) buon in DAB mode to open the menu and select
the Full Scan menu item using the ENTER (27) buon on the remote control, or by pressing the SELECT/
VOLUME (5) knob.
Alternatively:
> You can also press the SCAN (37) buon on the remote control.
Scan appears on the display.
During the scan a progress bar is displayed.
If no stations are found, check the antenna and change the installation location if required (section
4.3.2).
