11.1.2 Timer recording
You can use the DVR timer to record programmes to an aached recording
medium while you are out. Your receiver also has a channel-switching timer. In
terms of their programming, these timer types dier only in names (see Section 10
in your instruction manual). You can programme the timers manually as described
in this chapter, or using the EPG function as described in Section 9.3 in your
instruction manual.
Ensure that the receiver has read the correct time. During operation this is
displayed in the info box If this is not the case, switch the receiver to a major
channel such as ZDF for approx. 30 seconds, to acquire the time.
