5.2 Installing the DeXtenTion Dongle
Introduction
If your package contains a DeXtenTion dongle, you can use your Thomson Gateway both as an Internet
Gateway and a DECT base station simply by plugging this device into your Thomson Gateway.
Procedure
Proceed as follows:
1 Connect the flexicable to the DeXtenTion dongle:
2 Plug the DeXtenTion Dongle in the USB master port.
3 On of the red LEDs on the DeXtenTion Dongle start blinking. As long as this LED is blinking you will be
able to register your DECT phone.
4 Register your DECT phone You can now connect your DECT phone(s) to the Thomson Gateway base
station. For more information, see “5.3 Connecting a DECT Phone to Your Thomson Gateway”.
